The race favourite for this handicap chase is MR MULDOON at 6/4* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
He opened this season with a win, getting a score on his chase debut here at Sedgefield back in October. Mr Muldoon was then sent to Ascot.
He claimed a very credible fourth-place finish there as well as he looks to be settling into this sphere very well.
Mr Muldoon just didn’t have enough in the tank at 3m on that Ascot trip, so he is likely going to be a little happier with the trim back in distance.
FLOWERY has won before here at Sedgefield and has made some positive strides for his new yard.
But there was a really poor effort from him last time out at Warwick when he finished well down the field.
The hood goes back on in the home of taming some of his quirks. Flowery’s Sedgefield form can’t be faulted, however.
The other for the shortlist will be RAECIUS FELIX who has won a couple of times this season and one of those was at Sedgefield in October.
The form since then has been well below that, but a return to the track may help him get back to better things.

There is ONEMOREFORTHEROAD at the head of the market for this handicap hurdle at a quote of 11/4* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
On his reappearance run, he picked up a nice win in a bumper at Newton Abbot. That sharpened him up for a couple of hurdles attempts, both of which were solid.
It has been back to back third-place finishes for Onemorefortheroad over the timbers.
He looks to have a big chance here stepping into handicapping for the first time.
BAY OF INTRIGUEgets the nod from us at 5/1* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
He is top of the weights in his one but is making a debut for his new yard.
He went very close on his last run, a second-place over the hurdles at Plumpton a couple of months ago.
Bay Of Intrigue took on new tactics there which got the best out of him.
One that needs some further improvement is GREAT HALL who earned a second-place finish at course and distance just 10 days ago.
That was a solid effort, the best of the season from him and that means he piques some interest with Bryan Carver in the saddle.
The headgear goes back on as well.

IRISH ODYSSEY is the 11/4 favourite for this Sedgefield contest.* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill)
There was a fourth-place finish for him on his reappearance run three months ago. That was in a Leicester handicap.
Irish Odyssey is coming down slightly in trip from that one is also off of a 3lb lower mark.
So there are good indications that he can get himself in the frame having shown hurdling ability before.
ANOTHER THEATRE is of interest as well in this fixture.
She is 1lb up only after a second-place at Newcastle on a similar trip at Newcastle three races ago.
Since then she has struggled over the timbers at Newbury but with possible excuses there.
The all-weather didn’t suit her last time out at Newcastle however in an NH Flat. She could feature back in this sphere
Our horse racing tips for the fixture is RIVER FROST form 7/1* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
He is coming back from a break of almost three months and interestingly back in August he produced a fantastic win here.
That’s his best effort of the season and a return to Sedgefield may see him shine again.

The 7/2 favourite for this handicap chase at Huntingdon is QUEST FOR LIFE* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
He will step back into action looking to complete a hat-trick after having had a pretty good season so far. On his reappearance, he scored at Musselburgh.
That was in a handicap hurdle and was after an 18-month absence as well.
A month ago Quest For Life was successful in a jumper bumper as well, so looks to be in a really good heart at the moment.
ROCK ON ROCCO may well have a very big say in this contest. He was last seen in November here at Huntingdon where he made a big mistake and never managed to recover.
But he did score a novice hurdle win here at the venue to close out the last season and was second on his reappearance run this season at Kempton.
This is Rock On Rocco’s first go since a wind op and looks as if he can get himself well into the frame.
VERY FIRST TIME is the other name for the shortlist. On his reappearance run, he claimed a third-place finish in a Perth handicap as he kept on well very late.
He was well backed for his follow up which was at Carlisle, but suffered a health issue with bleeding.
Very First Time now returns from four months away and has had a wind op.

Twojayslad 2/1

The race favourite for this conditions jockeys’ event is UNAI at 9/4* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
There was a third-place finish for him on his latest effort, which was a 20f effort at Warwick a month ago.
The performance suggests that there is more to come in this sphere.
Unai does face a tough field here though, so it’s going to be a fascinating showdown.
TWOJAYSLAD arrives looking for a hat trick. SO his form has been right there all season and he retains winning jockey Charlie Todd.
The first of his recent wins was at Doncaster before scoring in a big field at Ludlow six weeks later.
Twojayslad is thriving right now and poses a big threat.
Twojayslad may just be where it’s at for a 2/1 quote* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
OXWICH BAY has to be the other to keep on side. Last July he got himself off the mark at Newton Abbot.
This season has had some nice strong runs without having been able to add another win.
After back to back runners up finishes he was fourth at Ffos Las last month on his most recent. Oxwich Bay is a former course and distance winner.

MIDNIGHT AURORA is the 5/6 odds-on favourite in this big field which says a great deal about the threat that she brings out the table* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
She delivered a great score at Plumpton 6 days ago after building on some renewed promise of a trip to Musselburgh on January 1st.
Midnight Aurora is carrying a 7lb penalty for this effort, but that may not be enough to slow her up and she is going to be well backed.
Another of the front runners is likely to be MIDNIGHT MARY who claimed a good fourth place at Fakenham in January.
The conditions could be a little more in her favour this time around.
This is a longer trip for her and she is 1lb down so those are a couple of pulses to keep her in the picture.
At 17/2 she could be the value option to take on the favourite* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at William Hill).
GALACTIC POWER will be the other one that we keep on the shortlist for this trip.
He has gone well in both efforts this season, both ending in defeats, but solid efforts nonetheless.
The most recent of those runs for the veteran was at Taunton in January when he was fourth. He may enjoy this longer trip.
